Rajgarh: An illegal drug smuggling racket has been busted in the Rajgarh district of Madhya Pradesh. In a major crackdown, the Pachor police have arrested three smugglers, including a woman. They were bringing the drugs from Rajasthan and supplying them in Madhya Pradesh.

The Pachor police station in Rajgarh district has busted an illegal drug trafficking ring without a license. Acting on a tip-off, police stopped and searched a Swift car (number HR72B4066). They recovered illegal drugs, injections, syringes, and other contraband worth approximately ₹6.5 lakh.

Police arrested three smugglers, including a woman, at the scene. The arrested suspects were identified as Shahid Khan and Sajida Khan, residents of Kaithwada (Rajasthan). Interrogation revealed that the accused illegally purchased medicines and injections from an establishment called “Rajasthan Medical” in Deeg (Bharatpur), Rajasthan, and supplied them to various districts in Madhya Pradesh.

The role of Rajasthan Medical’s operator, Hanif Khan, has also come to light in this illegal supply network. Police have named him as an accused. In this case, Rajgarh police have written to the Rajasthan administration and initiated proceedings to revoke the medical’s license. Sarangpur SDOP Arvind Singh stated that this action by Pachor police is a major success in curbing the growing drug trade. Following this action, those involved in the illegal drug network in the area are in a state of panic.
