Bhopal: Voting has started for Madhya Pradesh Assembly Elections 2023. Voting will take place from 7 am to 6 pm. Voting will be held on 230 seats in the state. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan performed puja at Narmada Ghat in Sehore before casting his vote. From where he reached Jait’s booth and talked to some voters. Apart from this, he also performed Kanya Puja in a temple located in Budhni.
“For strong democracy and development of the state… I have voted, you should also do so…”, wrote CM Chouhan on X.
During this time his wife Sadhna Singh was also present. He said that the love of sisters is overflowing. The sisters have prepared the plate. Love is being lost by voting. This is the love of sisters towards their brother. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Chouhan exercised his franchise in the government secondary school building of village Jait, the ideal polling center in Sehore district. Chief Minister’s wife Sadhna Singh and other family members exercised their franchise at the polling booth located at Secondary School Jait. Sons Kartikeya Chauhan and Kunal Chauhan also voted.
After casting the vote, the Chief Minister said, ‘Best wishes to all the voters of the state on the great festival of democracy… ‘Voting’ is the right and duty of every citizen. I request all my brothers, sisters and nephews and nieces of Madhya Pradesh to exercise their franchise and participate in the progress and development of the state. ‘First voting, then refreshments.’
