Jabalpur: Central Minister and BJP candidate Prahlad Singh Patel made statements regarding the state assembly elections, in Madhya Pradesh. During a press conference held in Jabalpur on Monday, Patel confidently stated that Kamal Nath, the chief of the Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC), is poised to face defeat in his constituency. Patel’s bold declaration came as he visited Jabalpur and addressed the media.
Continuing his statement, the Central Minister clarified that he personally believed Kamal Nath would lose in the elections. Prahlad Patel’s remarks are seen as a move for the crucial elections and highlight the intense political climate in the state.
When questioned about Kamal Nath cautioning officials, Patel dismissed it as anxiety from Congress and Kamal Nath. He criticized their use of language, with officials emphasizing that it is undemocratic to communicate in such a manner when defeat appears likely.
Prahlad Patel didn’t miss an opportunity to mock Rahul Gandhi’s OBC card while taking a dig, at Congress for their history of division. He pointed out that Congress has always been involved in dividing society and suggested that Rahul Gandhi should disclose his caste before attempting to represent communities.
