Bhopal: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan is about to commemorate a milestone in the Ladli Behna Yojana, a flagship program of the state government, as it reaches its four-month mark today. To celebrate this achievement, CM Chouhan will participate in a Ladli Behna Conference in Gwalior, where he will make a generous gesture.
During the event, CM Chouhan will digitally transfer an amount of Rs 1,000 into the bank accounts of each of the 1.31 crore sisters across Madhya Pradesh. This collective deposit will total Rs 1,269 crore showcasing the government’s dedication to empowering and supporting women within the state.
Chief Minister Chouhan will pay his respects at Gwaliors Achaleshwar Mahadev Temple to kickstart the day’s proceedings. This will be followed by a Jan Darshan Yatra (roadshow) in the city. He will be honored as a guest at a state-level conference for women beneficiaries at Phoolbagh Grounds. With one click, he will initiate the deposit of Rs 1,000 into the sisters’ accounts – continuing his tradition of gifts to them every 10th day of each month.
