Bhopal. Today is the second day of the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly’s budget session. Before the House began, the opposition protested fiercely over the Indore Bhagirathpura contaminated water problem. They demanded action against the guilty officers and the minister’s resignation. Meanwhile, Congress Muslim MLA Atif Aqeel issued a significant statement, demanding that the cow be declared the national animal.

There should also be a funeral – Congress

Congress MLA Atif Aqeel stated that he has introduced an unofficial resolution regarding the cow in the Assembly. Hinduism considers the cow a mother. He stated that the cow should be declared a national animal. If a cow dies, it should be cremated. Atif also stated that the leather trade should be banned. He explained that his father had also introduced a resolution in 2017. At that time, the BJP was in power, and the resolution was not passed due to a lack of majority. There is a significant difference between the Bharatiya Janata Party’s words and actions.

BJP said – will not allow any cuts in MP

Meanwhile, the BJP has retaliated to Congress MLA Atif Aqeel’s demand. BJP MLA Rameshwar Sharma said that Atif Aqeel should go to the mosque and appeal to Muslims not to slaughter or eat cows. Atif Aqeel should not make this demand just for publicity. Cows will not be allowed to be slaughtered in Madhya Pradesh at all.
