BHOJSHALA: On the 38th day of Bhojshala ASI survey. Tomorrow ASI has to submit the report in the High Court. However, ASI has applied in the court to extend the period of the survey. Hearing on this is to be held tomorrow. Another 8 weeks time has been sought for the survey. Today, the survey of Akal Kuinya is going on in the Dargah premises of Bhojshala. Till now, both sides have claimed to have found layers of three walls, Sanatani remains, Gaumukh, statues and many inscriptions.
The report of the survey conducted by the ASI team in these 38 days will be presented tomorrow. It shall also mention how much work is left and the reasons why they need 8 more weeks. The investigation is to be done in Bhojshala with GPR machine and many modern machines. So that the pace of the survey will increase further in the coming days.
Hindu party Gopal Sharma said that for the last two days, the experts who came from Hyderabad are marking Bhojshala, Kamal Maulana Dargah complex and places within a radius of 50 meters for investigation with the GPR machine. GPR machine will arrive this week. This machine will detect ancient remains in the Kamal Maulana Dargah complex in Bhojshala and at kutcha and pucca places within a radius of 50 meters.
Meanwhile, Muslim party Abdul Samad Khan said that “we have had full cooperation in the survey conducted till now, but some things have gone against the survey. After the order given by the Honorable Court on April 1, we had objections to the things that were done. We have lodged objections with ASI. Our lawyers will argue in all these matters in the hearing to be held tomorrow. We will also lodge an objection in the court on the application given by ASI to extend the time of survey, because the pits dug during the survey are still lying open. No arrangements have been made to ensure that the pits do not fill with water, due to which the monument is in danger”.
