Jabalpur: Abdul Razzaq, a resident of Naya Mohalla in Jabalpur and a well-known history-sheeter, is now facing yet another case registered against him. The latest accusation involves the armed threat to kill the owner of a hospital. Abdul Razzaq is presently serving a prison term for multiple severe crimes, such as attempted murder, extortion, and other offenses.

The recent case was filed against Abdul Razzaq following a report lodged by Dr. Ashutosh Rai, the director of Chitrakoot Eye Hospital. The miscreant allegedly brandished weapons while issuing death threats to the hospital owner. Consequently, the Kotwali police promptly arrested Abdul Razzaq and subsequently sought his remand through a production warrant in court. The court granted remand until July 15 based on the application submitted by the Kotwali police.

According to the hospital operator, Dr. Ashutosh Rai, he had invested Rs 20 lakh to purchase a plot, but the registration was carried out in someone else’s name despite his substantial financial contribution. The Kotwali police are currently interrogating Abdul Razzaq regarding these allegations.

The continuous involvement of Abdul Razzaq in criminal activities has raised concerns within the community. The authorities are actively implementing measures to tackle the issue and prioritize public safety. The ongoing investigations and legal proceedings will be instrumental in deciding the most suitable actions to take against the notorious gangster.
