Jabalpur: The Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) in Madhya Pradesh has successfully launched another key raid in Jabalpur, and it resulted in the arrest of three Afghanistan nationals. Arrested individuals are dubbed as Yakub Khan, Mohammad Yunus, and Abdul Khan. The arrests took place in the 8 Nal part of the city, as per officials, with the trio being involved in the blanket trade in the Chhoti Omti locality.

It has been found that these Afghan nationals were already carrying forged Indian papers, and on its basis, they were illegally obtaining existing Indian documents. To mention just a few, there is the background of Yakub Khan. His grandfather had moved to India almost 15 years earlier with him, having come to India out of Afghanistan. He was able to even forge his Indian passport as well as coordinate the forged passports of Mohammad Yunus and Abdul Khan. This shows that there is a bigger network that is used in the production of fake identity documents.

The ATS has initiated an intense questioning of the accused so that they can come up with the complete racket that has been forging documents for foreigners. According to the officials, this investigation will unearth some more connections and will indicate how these illegal networks have been working in the region.

It is not the first piece of progress in the case. These new arrests bring to six the number of Afghan nationals who have now been arrested in the case against fake documentation. Previously, Sohbat Khan, Iqbal, and Akbar had been arrested by the ATS and were taken to jail.

The successive arrests mark the vigilance and vigilance of the ATS in reducing illegal migration and forgery, and the fakeness of documents. The law enforcers have acknowledged that the process is still under investigation, and it will result in more action to eliminate the whole network behind this fraud.
