In Madhya Pradesh, new IT parks will be established in PPP mode at Indore, Ujjain, and Rewa.
CM Dr Mohan Yadav issued this directive during a review meeting with the Department of Science and Technology, where the ideas involved using technology solutions on various issues of the state. He recommended that the issue of securing our Computer System Networks be handed over to the Electronics Development Corporation. Furthermore, drones will be used to combat Poaching and deforestation, police surveillance, management of human congestion and policing of illegal mining activities.
In the state government meeting on Tuesday, the State’s Chief Minister, Dr Mohan Yadav, declared that to explore the potential in the IT sector, more IT parks, especially in the PPP model, should be set up in the State, particularly in Indore, Ujjain and Rewa. He appealed for open timelines that should be placed on each IT project to indicate the right time to complete the project. CM Yadav stressed the use of sophisticated technology to guard the environment and save crops as well as coastal areas along the river Narmada.
Besides these measures, CM Yadav asked officials to link Dongla Observatory in Ujjain with the IIT-Indore for research and introduce courses in the R&D field in the field. He urged officials to organize study tours for deserving students of science and technologies at Ujjain Planetarium. In addition, the observational services of the observatory will include remote-controlled physical infrastructure for the researchers in accordance with the New Education Policy, where technological advancement exercises such as exercise feasibility among the researchers.
