Indore: A rather shocking incident that was reported recently occurred in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, where an injection was given in an e-rickshaw. Originally stated as a single act of criminal spree, the crime has finally dominated, to be linked to an underlying plot of a lover affair. A relative developed a false case against the young man who was targeted through a police investigation that was conducted on them.
It was also collected that the victim had gone to Chandan Nagar police station and filed a complaint that his relative was behind the conspiracy. The relative has allegedly paid ₹10,000 to two other men to stage as passengers in the e-rickshaw. On getting to the vehicle, the accomplices were said to have injected something into the victim. But it was not poison as was thought initially, and indeed, the media found out that it was a sharp object that was injected into the man.
Citing the severity of the problem, 400 CCTV footage clips from different areas were studied by the police in order to reconstruct what happened. This extensive surveillance review led to the arrest of three suspects: Om Prakash, Jagan, and Vishal. In the course of interrogation, the accused stated that the rationale was to frame the victim in a case based on personal rivalry due to the affair.
The police are still detaining the suspects in remand to extract more information concerning the plot. The investigation has exposed society to the level some individuals can go to cage their score with another; well, the authorities are making sure that proper legal actions are taken.
