Gwalior: The Special Sessions Court in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, has taken a tough stand against TI KP Yadav, who repeatedly abstained from testifying in the 1,900 kg dodachura smuggling case in Gwalior. The court has also sent a letter to the Director General of Police (DGP) in this regard. The court has directed that the TI be produced in court at the next hearing under all circumstances.

The case is a case of an operation carried out in the Mohana police station area of Gwalior. A truck was seized late on the night of September 23-24, 2022, where 1,900 kg of poppy husk was confiscated from the truck. Police arrested the accused and registered an FIR under the NDPS Act. A challan was also presented in court in this case.

The court sent a letter to the DGP

But before the court can deliver a concrete verdict in this case, TI KP Yadav’s absence from the hearing is creating significant problems. Even though most witnesses have already recorded their statements. The court issued a summons, a bailable warrant, and even an arrest warrant to summon TI KP Yadav to court. However, when the TI failed to appear, the court sent a letter to the Madhya Pradesh DGP, ordering him to appear for testimony during the next hearing.
