Betul: Madhya Pradesh has become an intense contest for every subject of Lok Sabha elections as the Congress and BJP are intensifying their campaigns in the state. The recent turn in events has even surprised Former District President Sunil Sharma, whose pictures were removed from banners and posters from the Local Vidhan Sabha office of Congress, which Ramu Tekam headed in Bhainsdehi. This did not pass most ears unheard of, and soon, it spread like wildfire across social media.

Not long ago, Sunil Sharma, who used to be the former president of the Congress district, joined the BJP. His defection was revealed by the present Chief Minister of the state – Dr Mohan Yadav – who received the now BJP member in public. Congress youth wing leader Shravan Singh Thakur exclaimed his frustration doing justice to Sharma and his past prided Congress membership. However, the reasons as to why he had to politically switch were still unchartered.

Shiva Kumar Thakur, who is a local Congress Party leader, who historically has close ties to the Congress party, explained that Sharma’s photo was big and bold, mainly because of the approaching Lok Sabha election. Nevertheless, as he was in the BJP, once Congress had done its duty, it was supposed to have removed his photo from its campaign material. For the same reason, they instantly took off Sharma’s picture from all posters, banners, etc.

This epoch accentuates the intricacies in political dynamics and other issues that are bound to crop up during election campaigns. For instance, a charismatic leader like Sunil Sharma’s quick and unexpected move to the opposition bench shows the uncertainty of political factions and the direction they may take amid changing circumstances.

With the upcoming Lok Sabha elections around the corner, both Congress and BJP have decided to calm their effort of expansion and influence the voters. Such examples, as one can see, it complicate the electoral scene, which forces parties to rethink their tailored messages quickly and oppose them amid a very dynamic shifting of the party’s supporters.
