Indore: In an incident arising from a disagreement about dogs, a security guard at a bank in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, went on a violent rampage resulting in the death of two individuals and causing injuries to six others. The person responsible for the attack is Rajpal Rajawat, who resides in the Krishna Bagh colony within the city.
According to Amarinder Singh, the Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police, the incident occurred around 10;30 pm on Thursday. It all started when Rajawat walked his dog and encountered Vimal, a resident who threw a stone at the dog. This led to an escalating argument between them.
Losing control of his emotions, Rajawat climbed onto the roof of his house and fired shots. Initially, he fired warning shots into the air. Then aimed at the crowd. Tragically both Rahul and Vimal were fatally injured. They died immediately.
The sound of gunshots created chaos and fear in the area, attracting a crowd that included family members of those who lost their lives. Amidst this chaos, Jyoti, Lalit, Kamal Mohit, and Seema were injured by bullet fragments. “Out of the eight people hit by gunfire, two passed away immediately. The remaining six are currently receiving treatment,” stated the DCP.
Authorities acted swiftly by apprehending Rajawat and confiscating his firearm. Upon investigating the individual’s history, it came to light that there was a connection through marriage. Eight years ago, Vimal, who ran a salon in Nipania, had tied the knot with Aarti, Rahul’s sister. They had two young daughters together. Rahul worked for a company located in the Lasudia locality.
