It’s reported that Digvijay Singh will contest from Rajgarh, Kantilal Bhuria from Ratlam Jhabua, and Arun Yadav from Guna Ashok Nagar. However, the official announcement of candidates is pending.
The Congress Central Election Committee meetings have been ongoing. Discussions in the CEC meeting included the candidates from Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, and Gujarat. Out of 29 seats in Madhya Pradesh, Congress had announced candidates for ten seats. One seat in Khajuraho was left for the Samajwadi Party under the coalition.
Meanwhile, BJP has already declared candidates for all 29 seats in Madhya Pradesh. Reportedly, names for 10 seats in MP have been finalized in the CEC meeting, although the official announcement is awaited. BJP has already announced its candidates for all MP seats, while Congress has released two lists with 39 and 43 candidates respectively. However, Congress has only fielded candidates for 10 seats in MP so far. If the names are announced today, this number may increase.
