On Friday, the 43rd day, the team of the Archaeological Survey of India along with 24 laborers and 19 officers reached the historic Dhar Bhojshala of Madhya Pradesh at 6 am. Today on Friday, the Archaeological Department of India has permitted the Muslim community to offer Namaz in the banquet hall. Namaz will be offered from 1 pm to 3 pm, before that the ASI team will go out after surveying the Bhojshala premises at 12 noon.
Yesterday, during digging in front of the sanctum sanctorum of the Bhojshala complex, it was claimed that three Parmar period coins were found. At the same time, the work of removing soil has started from tomorrow in a field behind the new site Bhojshala.
At the same time, work is going on at 7 points in front of the womb. Hindu parties and Muslim parties will be present during the survey.
Earlier on April 1, the Supreme Court on Monday refused to stay “scientific survey” of the Bhojshala complex, a medieval-era structure that both Hindus and Muslims claim as their own in Madhya Pradesh’s Dhar district but said no action should be taken without its permission on the outcome of the ASI survey.
Hindus consider Bhojshala, an Archaeological Survey of India (ASI)-protected 11th-century monument, to be a temple dedicated to Vagdevi (Goddess Saraswati), while the Muslim community call it Kamal Maula Mosque.
In the earlier petition filed by the Muslim side in the Supreme Court, the Supreme Court had issued notices to everyone regarding the ban on the survey. ASI and Hindu parties have to submit their reply to the notice in the Supreme Court today.
A bench of Justices Hrishikesh Roy and P K Mishra issued notices to the Centre, Madhya Pradesh government, ASI and others on the plea filed by Maulana Kamaluddin Welfare Society challenging the March 11 order of the MP High Court on scientific survey.
“Issue notice returnable in four weeks. In the interim, no action should be taken without the leave of this court on the outcome of the ordered impugned survey.
