Dhar: Road accidents in Madhya Pradesh persist as the state witnesses yet another day marred by tragic incidents. In Dhar district, a bus collided with a bike rider, resulting in the rider’s immediate death. The accident caused traffic disruption in the area. Meanwhile, in Singrauli district, a high-speed dumper crashed into a tractor, causing the tractor’s trolley to overturn and leaving several occupants injured.
The bus involved in the accident was en route from Dhar to Ratlam Naka in the Naugaon area when it collided with a bike travelling from the opposite direction. Tragically, the bike rider, identified as Laxman (45) and son of Dulichand, lost his life on the spot. Upon being informed the police immediately made their way to the scene. They responsibly took charge of retrieving the body and ensured its safe transportation to the district hospital using an ambulance for post mortem examination. The accident temporarily disrupted traffic flow, but the situation was soon brought under control by the police, including CSP Devendra Dhurve and traffic in-charge Rohit Nikam, who cleared the affected area.
In another significant accident near Azad Mor in the district, a speeding dumper collided with a tractor, causing the tractor’s trolley to overturn. Multiple individuals riding in the trolley sustained injuries. Upon receiving reports of the incident, the police from Shashan Chowki quickly arrived. Post in-charge Sandeep Namdev promptly arranged for the injured to be transported to the trauma center for medical treatment. Fortunately, no fatalities were reported in this accident.
These incidents serve as stark reminders of the ongoing road safety challenges in Madhya Pradesh, emphasizing the need for increased awareness and stringent measures to prevent accidents and ensure the well-being of road users.
