MADHYA PRADESH: A family of three allegedly committed suicide by jumping in front of a running train. The incident is reported from the Tikamgarh district of MP. A couple along with their teenage daughter jumped before a train at Khargapur railway station, around 35 km from the district headquarters, this morning said police officials. They suspect the victims ended their lives due to financial issues.
“It appears that the trio, residents of Tikamgarh, committed suicide as a result of financial distress. However, the investigation into the incident will bring to light the exact reason behind their suicide,” Khargapur police station sub-inspector Nitesh Jain told reporters.
The deceased couple owned a small farmland which apparently was not sufficient for them to earn a living. The bodies of the deceased identified as Laxman (35), Rajni (32) and their 13 year old daughter have been sent to the govt hospital for postmortem examination.
