Jabalpur: In a shocking incident in Jabalpur, a law offender turns into an accused after he hits an elderly man at the railway station. So far the uniform-wielded man has not been identified.
In the video that has gone viral on social media since the incident took place on the intervening nights of Thursday and Friday an outrage aroused against the police.
The video shows a man in a police uniform thrashing an elderly man repeatedly and hitting him in the face. The cop is seen dragging the man by his legs and dangling him off the platform’s edge kicking him again. With the platform hauliers and vendors witnessing the attack, no one intervenes as the cop goes about pummeling the man.
The victim is identified as Gopal Prasad, who in a statement to the police has said- A man was abusing me and when I complained the same to the policeman he started attacking me. I do not know the policeman.
