Bhopal: In recent years, the congress party has upped efforts in the process of party organizational build-up, especially at the village level. There is a major executive committee meeting of the Congress Panchayati Raj Organization planned for Sunday, the idea of which is to perhaps agree on how best to plan and handle problems pertaining to the rural regions.
This meeting will not only urge and solve issues that need to be raised by the villagers but also educate the farmer’s youth and women regarding the ideology of the party. The idea here is to both expand the party’s electorate base and, at the same time, amplify the capacity to advance local concerns. In this way, the party aims to establish strong support in the rural areas, which is very crucial for the party’s expansion and coverage.
More specifically, the discussion in the meeting will also involve a number of other issues regarding panchayats. Members will discuss issues raised by the local governing bodies and evaluate suitable responses to them. In continuation of this agenda, the meeting is also supposed to map out plans for possible movements and campaigns for the proper handling of these challenges.
An important meeting is planned for today at 12 PM in the main conference room at the PCC headquarters, and many of the active members and leaders of the organisation will be attending. People will reveal their perceptions, ideas and perspectives to develop a detailed strategy map.
This move is a clear sign that the Congress party is ready to rebuild itself especially its roots at the grassroots level of the Indian population. Through such engagements, the party seeks to bring close the governance and local people within the country; and ensure that defenders of rural persons get to know the number of problems that they detect, and have them solved completely. These outputs of this meeting are expected to outline the direction of future activities in order to keep the party relevant to its rural support base as well as solve all their issues.
