Bhopal: The Congress, having reached the semi-final of MP politics, is now preparing to play in the frontlines. After a decisive loss in the power semi-finals, the Congress is gearing up for a better performance in the final match and mark their comeback. The party has formulated a comprehensive plan to address regional issues, involving all its 66 legislators who will actively voice concerns in their respective constituencies.

This effort extends beyond press conferences and encompasses street protests. Under new year planning, the Congress will stage protests to corner the government on region-specific issues. Notably, the role of Congress legislators, besides state and district officials, will be crucial. Congress legislator Phool Singh Baraiya revealed that the party would take to the streets, addressing various issues such as unemployment, inflation, and atrocities against tribal communities.

The significance lies not just in the press conferences but also in on-ground protests. The Congress is set to take a stand against the government on region-specific issues under the new planning. Bhupendra Gupta, Vice President of the Congress Media Department, stated that the organization’s new planning aims to fulfill electoral promises made by the government. Whether it’s electricity, crop procurement, or the Ladli Behna Yojana, the Congress intends to hold the government accountable at every level.

The Congress’s new planning comes with the realization that the government may have secured votes based on promises, but fulfilling those promises on the ground is beyond its capabilities. In response, the Congress, sitting in the opposition role, will attack the BJP’s promises at every level.

Brijgopal Loya, BJP Pradesh Spokesperson, dismissed the impact of Congress’s new planning, asserting that the people of the state have already rejected the Congress. According to him, any planning by the Congress is unlikely to have any effect, and he advised the party to engage in positive politics.

The political landscape in MP seems set for an intense battle as the Congress strategizes for a stronger comeback with its new planning, while the BJP remains confident in its position of strength.
