Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has embarked on a tour of districts where the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) faced setbacks in the recent assembly elections. Under the Mission 29 initiative, he aims to rejuvenate party workers’ spirits. The journey commenced in Chhindwara on Tuesday, followed by a visit to Shajapur at 2:25 PM. The CM’s helicopter landed on the helipad within the Veer Savarkar Stadium premises, and from there, he proceeded to the Municipal Auditorium by car.
Addressing the public, Chouhan expressed gratitude for the massive support received during the Lok Sabha elections. He lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi as a divine blessing for India, asserting that under Modi’s leadership, the nation is progressing swiftly, and the citizens take pride in their accomplishments. The Chief Minister emphasized the sacred bond between brothers and sisters, citing the purest relationship. Despite not winning here, the overwhelming support for the BJP left people astonished, and Chouhan attributed this victory to the blessings of his sisters and the leadership of Prime Minister Modi.
Chouhan took the opportunity to connect with the ‘Ladli’ sisters, expressing his commitment to fulfill the promises made to them. He playfully mentioned that after ‘Ladli’ sisters, it’s time for ‘Lakhpati’ sisters, highlighting the success of 1.5 million sisters from the self-help group who have become financially empowered. This led to the announcement of the ‘Lakhpati Bahna Abhiyan’ (Millionaire Sister Campaign), aiming to replicate the success of uplifting sisters from poverty.
Assuring party workers of his continuous support, the Chief Minister pledged to stand with them in every circumstance. Despite the recent election results, Shivraj Singh Chouhan reassured his commitment to ensuring significant leads from Shyopur and Vijaypur constituencies to Muraina in the Lok Sabha elections.
He urged workers to make this victory so substantial that the world would marvel at the triumph achieved by the people of Shyopur. Overall, the Chief Minister’s tour serves as a strategic initiative to reinvigorate party morale and strengthen BJP’s presence in the challenging districts.
