Haridwar Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has made a visit to Haridwar where he arrived at the Patanjali Yogpeeth and joined an expansive yoga retreat with yoga guru Baba Ramdev. In his visit, the Chief Minister was shown various yoga asanas by Baba Ramdev, and it shows his strong personal interest in yoga and wellness.
Dr. Mohan Yadav also was able to attend a holy havan at the Kanya Gurukul with Baba Ramdev, an indication of his admiration to the Indian spiritual customs. Photos of the Chief Minister doing Shirshasana (headstand) along with Baba Ramdev have been circulated attracting a large amount of attention. Prior to his seat at the yagya vedi, Dr. Mohan Yadav paid homage to the seat that is ready to his sitting with Baba Ramdev and took his place to sit on the ground himself, which is an example of humility and respect.
