Damoh: In Damoh district of Madhya Pradesh, a significant operation involving a bulldozer has once again taken place. The administration took action to clear encroachments on both sides of the main road in the sub-tehsil of Madiyadoh. Additionally, a bulldozer was deployed to address encroachments on the boundary wall of an old police station, causing a seismic reaction among the violators. Prior to the enforcement action, the administration had issued notices to encroachers, instructing them to remove encroachments within a specified timeframe.
As the operation to remove encroachments began on Saturday, the situation intensified, leading people to gather and voluntarily assist in clearing the violations. The administration’s team in Madiyadoh has been actively working to eradicate encroachments identified as disruptions on the Sakre Road.
The persistent demand from the public to eliminate long-standing encroachments that have been hindering traffic in the area has led to this enforcement action. The encroachments in the Madiyadoh locality have been causing daily traffic jams, adversely affecting both motorists and pedestrians. The ongoing efforts involve removing encroachments, including makeshift shelters and stalls, from the boundaries of several shops, including the boundary wall of the old police station.
It is reported that the encroachments being cleared were causing disruptions for the daily commuters using this route to travel to Panna and Chhatarpur. Due to the narrow conditions of the road, traffic congestion has been a persistent issue, resulting in daily traffic snarls and even emergency vehicles getting stuck.
Present during the enforcement operation were officials such as Deputy Tehsildar Shivram Chhadar, Revenue Officer Amala, and the in-charge of the police station, Brajesh Pandey, along with personnel from several police stations. The coordinated efforts aim to alleviate the difficulties faced by the public due to the encroachments and to restore smooth traffic flow in the affected areas.
