Bhopal: In Madhya Pradesh, a budget allocation has been made for the first 26 departments for expenditure. The state’s 26 departments have received a budget allocation of 8,623 crore rupees for expenditure. The government has provided this amount to the departments for a period of three months. The Finance Department has approved a special expenditure limit for the 26 departments for the months of January, February, and March.

Among these allocations, the Department of Public Works, Water Resources, and Public Health Engineering has been granted more than 4,000 crore rupees for construction activities. The Public Works Department has been allocated 2,555 crore rupees for various construction projects. The Water Resources Department has received 1,255 crore rupees to accelerate irrigation projects, while the Narmada Valley Development has been allotted 807 crore rupees.

The Department of Public Health Engineering has been allocated 991 crore rupees for the implementation of the Jal Jeevan Mission. Similarly, the Health Department has a spending limit of 309 crore rupees, and the School Education Department has a limit of 300 crore rupees.

These allocations signify a strategic focus on infrastructure development, water resource management, and public health initiatives. The substantial financial commitment to construction projects, irrigation schemes, and health missions underscores the government’s dedication to enhancing the overall well-being and development of the state.
