Bhopal: As the Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections approach, political activities intensify. Starting from November 15, the election campaign will be put on hold. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan addressed a public gathering in Betul today, where he announced the release of BJP’s election manifesto.
Taking a swipe at the Congress, CM Shivraj stated, “As you sow, so shall you reap,” warning that the consequences will mirror the actions taken. In an intriguing turn, he alluded to Priyanka Gandhi’s uncle, stating, “Madam Priyanka Gandhi had said, ‘Mama’ could be anyone. If you work diligently, ‘Mama’ will be visible in that light.”
Chouhan, emphasizing the BJP’s commitment to all sections of society, expressed that today’s manifesto release focuses on inclusive development. He assured that women whose names were omitted from the list would be included if the BJP forms the government. Highlighting the issue of incomplete houses, the CM promised the construction of solid homes under the Ladli Behna Awas Yojana.
CM Shivraj pledged a thorough screening process once the government is formed, involving self-help groups to expedite the work. He expressed his vision of empowering every sister to become a millionaire, with her brother playing a pivotal role in her success.
The political discourse in Madhya Pradesh is gaining momentum, and as the campaign temporarily halts from November 15, the release of the BJP manifesto marks a significant move in shaping the narrative leading up to the elections. The Chief Minister’s remarks reflect a strategic approach to underscore the BJP’s commitment to development and inclusive governance, setting the stage for a competitive electoral battle.
