Dhar: The ASI survey has continued for seventy-nine days at the historical Bhojshala in Dhar, Madhya Pradesh. The day began early; at 8:00 AM, 17 labourers and 18 ASI officials came in to carry on with the elaborate digging process and investigation work. The survey team is expected to wrap up their work by 5:00 PM, which reveals the limited availability of actual food content within its substantial size, dehydration of foods, and practicality of single-serving packaging.
PMLN government’s survey is being done in front of both Hindu and Muslim affected parties, which makes the whole process very clear and non-biased. Yesterday, definite advancements were made in the recently begun trench in the northwestern portion of the Bhojshala field and the ground right beside. It has been possible to identify a continuous cleaning out of the soil, particularly in the northwest area, and this has been producing artefacts. Responding to these findings, Ashish Goyal, a petitioner from Hindu Front for Justice, spoke on the record, stating that although these findings are minor, they help tell the full history of the spot.
The ASI team has been toiling in front of the Bhojshala complex with equal fervour, carefully excavating every piece of the land and handling each piece of artefact with the utmost care. While making all these, police security measures have been kept intact at three tiers to provide a high level of security for the survey’s success. Also, any other electronic gadget, such as a mobile phone, is prohibited from sight of the exam subjects or any form of distraction.
Thus, it was observed that today, the total no of ASI officials was more than labour’s, which could be attributed to stepping up the pace in the final months before monsoon. This balance shift could be interpreted as a conscious effort to pay even more attention to meticulous documentation and record-keeping of the discoveries rather than the mere act of digging.
