Shahdol: The Senior Officer of the Police Department of Shahdol tehsil in Madhya Pradesh gets praise for the commendable act. In an actual life-and-death struggle, one ASI can hardly even imagine. However, in despair, a sudden knocking on the door brings the ADGP to the rescue. A critically injured person was discovered on the national highway, which extends along the border of the jungle, late at night. It was no one but an ASI of the police department fighting for his life at the site of the accident in the forest.

Late at night, the ADGP of Shahdol Zone, DC Sagar, was returning to Shahdol from a village tour with his office commandos. During this journey, they spotted a person lying severely injured on the national highway in the dense forests of Umaria district.
Instructions were given promptly to stop the vehicle right when someone noticed the injured person. ASI Lalmani Singh, who was posted in Shahdol district, was found injured.
The ADGP, accompanied by his men, really hesitated before the ASI was lifted, and right away, he was carried to the Shahdol District Hospital, located in one of the police vehicles. He called for a sickness ambulance himself and made sure that a medical procedure was started for the injured ASI he was with.
