Neemuch: Union Home Minister Amit Shah attended the 86th Foundation Day celebrations of CRPF in Neemuch on Thursday, 17 April. Home Minister Shah paid tribute to the martyred soldiers. Took the salute of the Rising-Day Parade. The Home Minister awarded bravery medals to CRPF soldiers. During this, MP Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, along with the district in-charge minister Nirmala Bhuria, MP Sudhir Gupta, as well as the three MLAs of Neemuch district, were present with him in the program.
While attending the 86th Central Reserve Police Force Day function, Amit Shah said that “CRPF has a huge contribution in containing the dreaded Naxalites, who have the courage from Pashupati to Tirupati, in 4 districts today. The work of establishing CRPF and giving it its flag was done by the great Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
“CRPF has left no stone unturned in maintaining the unity and integrity of the country. Whenever there is unrest anywhere in the country, as the Home Minister, I come to know that CRPF personnel are present there, then I work with confidence. I am confident that if CRPF is there, victory is certain”, he further added.
8 contingents of CRPF paraded during the ceremony. During this, Home Minister Amit Shah honoured CRPF personnel selected for gallantry medals. Units like CoBRA, RAF, Valley QAT and Dog Squad gave special performances. Home Minister Shah paid tribute to the brave martyrs of the force at the ‘Shaheed Sthal’. Let us tell you that, Amit Shah also interacted with the families of the martyred soldiers, parade commanders and soldiers.
