Guna: The Revenue Department has taken significant action against encroachers in Sakatpur village near Guna. People had constructed shops and houses on valuable government land. Following the Collector’s orders, an operation to remove illegal encroachments was carried out today. Using JCB machines, six shops and several houses were demolished. Tehsildar Gaurishankar Bairwa mentioned that they had been receiving information for several days about villagers constructing shops and houses on government land. In response, a team from the Revenue Department and the police promptly arrived at the site, adhering to the Collector’s directives. The team took strict measures against the encroachers, demolishing six shops and multiple houses.
Tehsildar Gaurishankar Bairwa emphasized that the action was taken after due process and in line with the orders from higher authorities. The individuals involved in encroachments were duly warned about the consequences of illegal construction on government-owned properties.
