Sheopur.  Sad news has once again come from Kuno National Park located in Sheopur, Madhya Pradesh. 8-year-old female cheetah Nabha brought here from Namibia has died. According to officials of Kuno National Park, Nabha was found injured inside a soft release boma a week ago. The medical team of the park started treating her, but despite all efforts, she could not be saved. 

Kuno National Park management has given this information by issuing a press note. After this incident, the total number of cheetahs in Kuno National Park has come down to 26. These include 9 adult cheetahs, including 6 females and 3 males. There are also 17 cubs born in India. According to the forest department, all the cheetahs are healthy. This ambitious plan to rehabilitate cheetahs in India under Project Cheetah is constantly facing challenges.
