Gwalior. A 51 feet tall statue of Lord Shri Ram in his forest form has been prepared in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. It will be installed in the Kaushalya temple in Chandrakhuri for the Shri Ram Van Gaman Path being built in Chhattisgarh. President-honored Gwalior sculptor Deepak Vishwakarma has prepared it with great hard work.
Actually, the Chhattisgarh government is preparing the Shri Ram Van Gaman Path. Where the forest dweller form of Lord Shri Ram is to be installed in the statue. In such a situation, the Chhattisgarh government had instructed Deepak Vishwakarma, a famous sculptor of Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, to build a 51 feet high statue of Lord Shri Ram. After this, the construction work of the statue started at the Gwalior Sand Stone Art and Craft Center, which is now completed.
For Shri Ram Van Gaman Path, this 51 feet high statue of Lord Shri Ram in the form of a forest dweller will be installed in the Kaushalya temple located in Chandrakhuri. This statue will be installed at the place of the statue of Lord Shri Ram currently installed there. Another specialty of the statue is that it has 108 beads made of Rudraksha.
Let us tell you that the structure of the statue of Lord Shri Ram installed there at present is completely wrong. Many flaws have come to light in its construction. If we look at the face and the shape of the body of the statue, then the image of Lord Shri Ram does not appear in it.
Use of Gwalior sandstone
The Chhattisgarh government has already given orders for two statues to Gwalior, which have been installed in Shivrinarayan and Sita Rasoi for Shri Ram Van Gaman Path. Gwalior got the order for a 51 feet tall statue after seeing the form of those statues. The statue has been prepared from Gwalior’s sandstone, which is renowned as a strong stone in the country and the statue carved from it is very strong and beautiful.

Sculptor Deepak Vishwakarma said that this statue has been prepared for Raipur. It will be installed in place of the 51 feet statue. 108 Rudrakshas have been made inside this statue. It took six to seven months to make it. It has been made from sandstone of Gwalior. It has 9 different parts, which will be assembled in Raipur.
