Guna. Due to the special efforts of Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, the farmers of Guna district are now going to get relief in the availability of DAP fertilizer. After continuous efforts made by Scindia, a large consignment of 3600 metric tonnes of DAP fertilizer has arrived in the district, out of which 2600 metric tonnes of fertilizer has reached Guna railway station in the first phase. Another consignment of 1000 metric tonnes of fertilizer will arrive in the district in the next 24 hours.

DAP fertilizer will be distributed among the farmers in Guna district through 7 double lock distribution centers and 40 committees. This fertilizer will be made available to the farmers at their nearest centers, so that they do not have to face the shortage of fertilizer. A total of 12,160 sacks have been allotted to these 7 double lock centers. The distribution of fertilizer at these major centers will be as follows.

  • Nanakhedi Double Lock: 3160 bags
  • Bageri: 3000 bags
  • Aaron: 2000 bags
  • Raghogarh, Madhusudangarh, Binaganj and Kumbhraj: 1000 sacks at each centre

Apart from this, 40 committees of the district have also been allotted 500-500 DAP bags. Out of these, Myana, Bhadaura, Magarana committees of Myana area have received 25-25 metric tonnes i.e. 500-500 bags. Farmers of Guna, Aaron, Madhusudangarh, Chanchoda, and other areas will also benefit from this distribution.

The farmers of the district are very happy with the availability of this fertilizer, because for some time they had to face difficulty in farming due to the huge shortage of DAP fertilizer. Now with the help of Scindia, farmers are expected to get fertilizer on time and their farming will improve. Mahendra Singh Kirar said that this fertilizer distribution will provide relief to the problems of the farmers and they will be able to take care of their crops in a better way.
