Ratlam: The Anti-terrorist Squad (ATS) of Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh in a joint operation arrested 3 suspected terrorists in Nimbahera locality, Chittorgarh, Rajasthan on Thursday. The team also confiscated 12 kg RDX, bomb-making materials, and a timer from the car of the accused. Udaipur IG Hinglaj Dan has confirmed the arrest of the suspected terrorist.

The accused were identified as Zubair, Altmas and Sarfuddin alias Saifullah, who were riding a Bolero car on Wednesday night, 12 kg of explosives (powdered) filled in 4 packets from the Bolero car of the accused, 3 Red watches, 3 connectors with wires, six small bulbs and wires kept in a plastic vial and other explosive material were recovered. According to reports, the accused were living in Ranikheda near Nimbahera after escaping from Ratlam. Udaipur and Jaipur ATS teams reached Nimbahera late on Wednesday evening and arrested the accused.

According to sources the accused were planning a serial blast at three locations of Jaipur. Ratlam police have also detained two people from the district following the information of the accused arrested in Rajasthan. The three accused are associated with an organization operating in Ratlam itself and are currently out on bail from the High Court. Rajasthan-MP Border is working in Ratlam and Nimbahera as a sleeper cell for the last 2 years. It is being told that 40-45 people are associated with their organization.
