Bhopal: The work of Metro Rail Line is being done at a fast pace in Bhopal. While on one hand the efforts to start the Metro from Subhash Nagar to AIIMS as soon as possible have been intensified, on the other hand the work of Metro’s Orange Line between Karond and AIIMS has also been started at a fast pace.
The pillars of the Orange Line are being erected at a fast pace at Karond Chauraha situated on Berasia Road, whereas now about 100 acres of land will be acquired to lay the metro line from Bogda Bridge Aishbagh to Krishi Upaj Mandi Karond. For this, the Metro Rail Corporation has started preparations with the cooperation of the district administration. During this, land will be taken from the landowners under the mutual purchase policy.
According to the information, about 100 acres of land of about 100 properties is to be acquired in the route of the metro rail line between Bogda Bridge Aishbagh, Bhopal Railway Station, Nadra Bus Stand, Sindhi Colony, DIG Bungalow and Krishi Upaj Mandi Karond. So far 30 people have agreed to give land under mutual purchase policy. After evaluating their properties, they will be given double the amount of the current collector guideline price. Under which the land owner will directly get the registry done in the name of the metro rail company.
Private land is to be acquired including Sama Forage Company Limited New Delhi, Her Highness Mehtaz Nawab Shazia Sultan Begum, Krishi Upaj Mandi Samiti. The land includes land of railway, crematorium, drain, cemetery, population, GS Oil Mill, Nawab Sajida Sultan Begum, Auqaf, Narmada Bailey Production Company, Pudra Mill, Alka Grih Nirman Sahakari Samiti, Central Health and Family Welfare, Maida Mill, Parmali Welles Private Limited and PWD.
Process started at SDM level
By doing this, more than a year of time taken in the acquisition process can be saved. At the same time, the land of those people who are not ready to give land by mutual consent will be acquired. For which the process has been started at the SDM level. After the notification was issued, 60 days were given, which is about to be completed.
