IndiGo Airlines on Monday issued a travel advisory to its travellers, warning them of the disruption of flight schedules at Mumbai airport because of heavy rains in the area. The airline has required passengers to schedule their travel and leave a certain buffer time regarding the weather conditions, as well as gridlocked traffic around the airports.
There is a downpour in Mumbai at present, and some flight schedules are slightly disrupted. And, all going to travel today, it will be better to keep in mind that there could be delays, and you should give more time to the trip, particularly when the traffic is slower than usual. IndiGo in its official advisory stated: “We are closely monitoring the situation and will put you airborne soonest possible.”
