Devgarh: In the case of the abduction of a minor girl from Devgarh on December 18, the police have arrested four individuals. Allegedly, a car and two motorcycles used by the criminals for the abduction of a businessman’s daughter for ransom have been confiscated.
According to information, the girl was reportedly abducted from Devgarh’s main market on the evening of December 18. When she was returning home from tuition, the next morning, December 19, the girl was rescued from Badagaon in Sundargarh. Police revealed that all the arrested individuals are residents of Devgarh and are believed to be involved in the kidnapping.
The criminals allegedly used a car and two motorcycles in the commission of the crime, which have been seized by the police. The victim, reportedly the daughter of a businessman, was kidnapped for ransom, and the criminals demanded a hefty amount for her release.
