New Delhi: For the past several days, threats of bombing schools in Delhi are being made through emails. So far in the month of December, more than 100 schools have received bomb blast threats. Now Delhi Police has made a shocking revelation in this case. Delhi Police said that these threats were given in about 3 schools by the students studying in those schools.
In fact, one of the schools that received bomb threats was Venkateshwar Global School, which received a threatening email a day after the mysterious explosion at Rohini Prashant Vihar PVR multiplex on November 28. Police said that these threats were given by students of about 3 schools. The police officer said that these emails were sent by siblings studying in the same school because they wanted the exams to be postponed.
“During counselling, both the students revealed that they got this idea from previous incidents of bomb threats to schools. They were allowed to go after warning their parents,” the official said.
Similarly, according to another police officer, two more schools in Rohini and Paschim Vihar were sent threatening emails by their students. The reason for this was also the same that the students wanted the schools to remain closed.
