Terrorist Arrested In Delhi: Jammu and Kashmir Police has achieved a major success in the case of terrorist funding. Jammu and Kashmir Police has arrested a terrorist from Nizamuddin in Delhi. The terrorist was selling shawls. The terrorist’s name is Parvez Ahmed Khan alias PK alias Sheikh Tajamul Islam alias Khalid. PK used to look after the financial network of various terrorist organizations including Lashkar TRF and Hizb in the valley. PK was trying to flee abroad. His interrogation is going on.
According to the information, this suspected terrorist named Parvez was staying at The Fajr Residency in Nizamuddin for the last 12 days. He was arrested from the hotel on the night of 26 February with the help of a joint operation by Jammu and Kashmir Police and Delhi Police. Currently, the police has taken Parvez Ahmed with them to Kashmir on transit remand.
Parvez is accused of being involved in funding terrorist incidents and was in contact with terrorists of banned terrorist organizations sitting across the Line of Control (LoC). This case is related to providing logistical support to banned terrorist organizations active in Jammu and Kashmir (J&K). In this, help was being provided in carrying out terrorist activities by sending money in different ways.
Police spokesperson said that CIK had started investigation by registering an FIR in January last year in the case of terror funding in Kashmir. CIK came to know from its sources that Pakistan’s intelligence agency ISI and the leaders of terrorist organizations based in Pakistan have created a new network to provide money for terrorist and separatist activities in Jammu and Kashmir. Elements involved in this network send money to Kashmir through various means from Dubai, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Pakistan and many other European countries. Apart from this, people of this network also collect money as well as other equipment for the terrorists active in Kashmir. During the investigation of the case, CIK came to know about Parvez Ahmed Khan alias PK alias Sheikh Tajamul Islam and Khalid.
