NEW DELHI: The Puneet Khurana suicide case is slowly getting more serious now, as his relatives have made several allegations against his wife Manika Pahwa. Puneet’s cousin Dhruv said that before committing suicide, Manika had hacked Puneet’s Instagram account. He said, “In the audio that has surfaced, the deceased is saying that his account has been hacked.”
“Punit’s phone is with the police right now and his Instagram is still active, which clearly shows that someone else is using his account. There are more videos of Manika torturing my brother, which I will release very soon,” he added.
Another relative of his said that we suspect that there will be problems in filing an FIR. The main issue is under which sections the case is being registered. He said, “The case of Jagdish Pahwa’s (Manika’s father) elder daughter is also going on in Model Town police station. Her elder son-in-law has registered a case of attempt to murder against his father-in-law.” He claimed that Jagdish Pahwa’s elder son-in-law is ready to tell the whole story to the media.”
A video of Puneet settling with his father-in-law by paying Rs. 2 crores came out. On this, his relative said, “Puneet’s father-in-law had settled that we will give Rs. 2 crores, but will not give the house. Puneet agreed to this by giving either Rs. 2 crores or the house, in return the money you took from us. Puneet’s father-in-law used to back out after settling every time. Because of this too Puneet was under a lot of pressure. Finally he made a divorce agreement, in which he had written that we will give the house to him. He was backing out from this also. Even while talking to Puneet for the last time, Manika said the same thing that I will not give any money… I will bring you on the road.”
