NEW DELHI: PM Modi, while referring to the Emergency of 1975 during a program on Friday, said that when the movement was going on against the dictatorial attitude of Indira Gandhi, he was also a part of the underground movement. He told that at that time Ashok Vihar was a shelter for him, where he used to carry out his activities. Modi also said that he feels proud to be a part of this struggle and this experience was an important part of his life.

Prime Minister Modi also talked about the new possibilities of India’s development for the year 2025. He said, “The year 2025 will bring many new possibilities for India’s development.” He believes that India will move forward on its journey by becoming the third largest economic power in the world. The PM also said that India has now become a symbol of political and economic stability in the world. He expressed confidence that India’s role will be stronger in 2025.

PM Modi also mentioned on this occasion that he never built a house for himself, but has built houses for more than four crore poor people in the last ten years. Modi said, “I could have built a Sheesh Mahal, but my priority has been to fulfill the dreams of the poor.” While giving this statement, he mentioned the plans and policies of his government under which housing has been provided for the poor so that they can also fulfill their dream of having a house.

PM Modi inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of various projects worth Rs 4500 crore in Delhi today before the assembly elections. The PM inaugurated 1,675 flats in the Ashok Vihar area of ​​the capital which will prove to be a big gift for the local residents. Along with this, PM Modi laid the foundation stone of three new projects at a cost of Rs 600 crore in Delhi University. These include the new building of Veer Savarkar College located in Roshanpura, Najafgarh, which is an important step in the field of education.
