Many regions covering the national capital and the neighboring NCR areas are deemed to be receiving a little rain and a clouded sky around Tuesday and this would be of great relief since the region has been under the blast of unending heat of summertime in the recent few weeks. The India Meteorological department (IMD) has reported that part of Delhi is also expected to experience light rainfall in communities such as Narela, Bawana, Alipur, Kanjhawala, Rohini, Badli, Pitampura, Mundka, Paschim Vihar, Rajouri Garden, Jafarpur, Najafgarh, Dwarka, Palam, and IGI Airport.
There is also the forecast of light rain in adjoining cities like Bahadurgarh and Gurugram in National Capital Region. In addition to NCR, showers are also in the reckoning in the states of Haryana such as Safidon, Jind and Panipat, the IMD forecast shows.
In the meantime the Southwest Monsoon has further advanced into some areas of the country. The monsoon has swept majority of the Bihar and some regions in eastern Uttar Pradesh as of June 19 increasing rainfall activity in the Eastern and Western belts.
Isolated heavy rains have been predicted on June 19 and 20 across the states of Jharkhand, whereas on June 19, Gujarat, north Konkan, Madhya Maharashtra, West Bengal, and Odisha will experience the same. Mostly the ghat regions of the Madhya Maharashtra and some parts of the Gujarat region are also expected to witness some heavy rainfall.
The IMD in the Northeast India has forecasted light to moderate rains in most parts with chances of thunderstorm, lighting conditions and other isolated heavy to very heavy showers in the next week.
On the south states, Kerala and Mahe will probably get isolated heavy rain on June 19 and June 22 to 25. The same weather will be witnessed on June 19 and from June 21 to June 25 in coastal Karnataka.
