New Delhi: The Delhi government recently shared the performance outcomes of students in the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) 2024 exams, revealing impressive achievements. Specifically, 96.99% of Class 12 students and 94.2% of Class 10 students from Delhi government schools have successfully passed their exams. These figures not only highlight a significant improvement in the academic performance of these students but also position them well above the national average for CBSE results.
Lauding the efforts of children, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal wrote on X, “And a great result in Class 10 as well! With a result of 94.2%, Delhi Givt Schools have shown a 8.36% increase from last year and have surpassed the CBSE national average as well”.
This year’s results mark a notable increase in the success rate among Delhi’s government school students, with Class 12 results showing a 5.4% improvement and Class 10 results up by 8.36% compared to previous years. An official statement highlighted that 307 Delhi government schools achieved a 100% pass rate in Class 12 exams, more than doubling last year’s count of 118 schools. Similarly, for Class 10, the number of schools with a 100% pass rate rose to 327 from 124 in the previous year.
The overall national pass percentage for CBSE Class 12 exams stood at 87.98 percent. Delhi government schools surpassed this benchmark with their outstanding success rate of 96.99 percent.
