Delhi Election: Politics is in full swing regarding the Delhi Assembly elections. According to sources, the Central Election Commission may announce the dates of Delhi elections on 7 or 8 January. It is being told that election will be held in Delhi in the second week of February and the results will come after 15 February.

According to sources, voting in Delhi will be completed in one phase between 11th and 13th February. Counting of votes can be done on 15th or 16th February. The preparation of the Central Election Commission for the Delhi Assembly election has almost reached the final stage. The Central Election Commission will also release the new voter list in Delhi by 6th January. This means that the picture regarding the formation of the new government in Delhi can be clear by the third week of February.

With the aim of winning the Delhi Assembly election, a round of allegations and counter-allegations has begun between Aam Aadmi Party, BJP and Congress. All the parties have also started making different promises to the public. While the Bharatiya Janata Party is trying to end the drought of the last 27 years, the Aam Aadmi Party has again started laying the political chessboard with the intention of registering a one-sided victory.

If we look at the data of the Election Commission, BJP has managed to keep its vote bank intact in the last 27 years, while Congress’ political ground seems to be slipping in Delhi. After losing power in Delhi, Congress’ vote share has seen a decline election after election and AAP’s graph is improving. Most of the seats in Delhi are such where Aam Aadmi Party candidates had won by small margins.
