A large part of the wall of the Gokulpuri metro station of Delhi Metro suddenly fell on the road. As soon as the wall collapsed, there was chaos all around and debris spread on the road. Five people were buried under the debris after the wall collapsed. Out of those five people, one person has died. While the other four have been admitted to the hospital for treatment. Expressing grief over this accident, DMRC has announced compensation. DMRC has said that an amount of Rs 25 lakh will be given to the family of the deceased, Rs 5 lakh to the seriously injured and Rs 1 lakh to the moderately injured.
