New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi (PM Narendra Modi) had a courtesy meeting with the newly appointed Chief Minister of Delhi Rekha Gupta (CM Rekha Gupta) on Saturday, 22 February. During this, the Prime Minister advised the Chief Minister to fulfill the promises made to the public soon and instructed the government to speed up the development work.
Before meeting Prime Minister Modi, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta met President Draupadi Murmu and Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, which was their first formal meeting. In the meeting, the Prime Minister advised the Delhi government to work fast in the interest of the public on cleaning the Yamuna, Delhi’s roads, electricity, traffic, cleanliness and other basic amenities.
While meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Delhi Chief Minister said that his government is working to fulfill the promises made to the public at a fast pace. He said that his government is making every possible effort to make Delhi a smart and better city. PM Modi told the CM that the schemes should be completed quickly so that the public gets relief as soon as possible. He said that the central government will provide all possible cooperation.

She said that her government will work continuously with the Center to make Delhi a better and modern city. After the meeting, it became clear that many new schemes and reform works are going to start in Delhi soon. The Chief Minister also appealed to the public to give suggestions so that the government can meet their needs in a better way.
