New Delhi: Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has accused the Bharatiya Janata Party of giving an offer of Rs 25 crore each to the Aam Aadmi Party MLAs. After this, on Sunday he said that BJP is offering him a handshake.
“BJP is saying come with us, we will leave. Join BJP, forgive all the blood. I will not join BJP. I am not going to bow down. I have not done anything wrong. He said that all the cases against AAP leaders are false”, said Kejriwal. He made these claims in front of the media during the inauguration program of government schools in Rohini.
After his claim, a new uproar has arisen in the politics of the country. The opposition is accusing the central government and the BJP of misusing the central agencies ED, CBI and now the local police for unethical pressure politics in view of the Lok Sabha elections.
Regarding the allegations of Kejriwal and Atishi, Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva said, “Kejriwal is making false allegations to create a sensation. The truth behind Kejriwal’s lies is now going to be exposed. He cannot run away from the investigation. He will have to face investigation”. A complaint was submitted to Delhi Police Commissioner Sanjay Arora regarding the allegations and demanded an investigation into AAP’s allegations. After this, the Crime Branch of Delhi Police is demanding evidence from Kejriwal and Atishi about the allegations against BJP.
A Delhi Police officer arrived at Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s official residence on Friday evening to hand in a notice in connection with the complaint filed by senior leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) seeking an investigation into the allegations leveled by Kejriwal regarding the poaching of MLAs, according to people aware of the matter.
