Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has lambasted the BJP leaders in the state who keep prosecuting the private markets yet sold paddy in the government market.

Before heading to Balod by helicopter, the CM addressed the media to raise a question on the honesty of the BJP leaders in the state, saying – “When the topmost executives of the BJP party are claiming that the revenue will get doubled by selling paddy in private markets, then why they are not selling their own paddy in the private market?”

He, in a taunting tone, said – “The BJP leaders here were to give demonstrations regarding how the revenue gets doubled without a minimum support price, by selling paddy in the private markets”.

He revealed that every leader in the state, including the BJP leaders, have done selling paddy in government markets. He specially mentioned the name of the former Chief Minister Raman Singh while claiming that the movement is extremely unfair if the agitators themselves are selling paddy in the government market.

The chief minister sarcastically threw a question to the BJP leaders through the media, asking – if BJP is against the minimum support price system, then how would the income get doubled?
