Raipur: The purpose of the ‘Prakriti Parikshan Abhiyan’ (Nature Testing Campaign) is to ensure protection of natural resources and promotion of sustainable development. Launched by Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, this initiative is in the track of Conservation of Environmental, Biodiversity Protection, Climate Impact Assessment, and Natural Resource sustainable use.
This campaign is highly successful in Chhattisgarh, which is famous for its rich forests, diverse ecosystems, and environmental balance. The grassroots initiative under the leadership of CM Vishnu Deo Sai has been extremely successful in raising awareness among local communities and getting them involved in conservation programs.
The campaign focuses on forest conservation, water purity, biodiversity protection, and responsible resource utilization. To cater to both communities, to safeguard the environment, various awareness drives and engagement programs have been introduced. The initiative has also been recognized on the national level under the guidance of the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM), New Delhi.
Chhattisgarh ranked third in the country by its outstanding performance in achieving its target strike rate and stood ninth in nature testing standards. This is a remarkable feat that speaks volumes for the state’s environmental and ecological well-being.
Union AYUSH Minister Pratap Rao Jadhav presented a Certificate of Appreciation and Trophy as a token of this success for Chhattisgarh. During the campaign closing ceremony, Dr. Sanjay Shukla received the award on behalf of the state campaign coordinator at the Jahangir Bhabha Theatre in Mumbai.
CM Vishnu Deo Sai also expressed pride about this achievement and congratulated the department officials and employees of this department. Talking about this milestone, he also stressed that this is a reflection of the rising excellence of Chhattisgarh in the health and Ayurveda domain, which will further help to build AYUSH based healthcare services in the state.
