In the proposed Keshkal bypass road, two big bridges (viaducts), 3 small bridges, 15 small culverts, 2 major junctions, dividers along the entire length of the road, and side drainage in the ghat will be constructed. The present Keshkal ghat has 10 dangerous turns, and the average width of the ghat is 7 to 9 meters. About 11 thousand vehicles travel daily.
Due to the narrow width of the road and dangerous turns in the ghat, it takes a lot of time to travel, and traffic jams occur. The proposed Keshkal bypass road will be made a 4-lane on the basis of current traffic calculation, due to which the general public will get relief from traffic jams in the ghat, time will be saved due to increase in the speed of vehicles as well a smooth and safe traffic facility will be available.
