The Sukma District Police achieved huge success in its collaborated operation with the CoBRA 201 Battalion. Two Naxalites were arrested in the operation. Sukma district SP Sunil Sharma confirmed the arrest while addressing local reporters.
Source report that the security forces have recovered explosive materials from the arrested Naxalites. The coalesced security forces nabbed the duo in the Chintalnar police station area. Police officials confirm a long term association of the two Naxalites with the organization. A case will be registered against the two for further actions to be taken informed sources.
A week ago, in a similar joint operation conducted by Jharkhand Police and Central Reserve Police Force, Naxalite Pradyuman was arrested. Reportedly Pradyuman carried a bounty of Rs 25 lakh and was wanted in three Naxal cases of Hazirbagh district apart from violation of rules in various other districts of Jharkhand and Bihar.
